The pages of the gallery show patients of mine before and after many of the procedures I perform.  These are not just photos of my best results, but are a realistic cross section of all the body contouring patients I have operated on for each of these procedures.  For privacy reasons we do not display photos of facial surgery patients.  Some results may appear better or more dramatic than others, but I assure you that they are all real results.  The after photo is of the same person as the before photo and none of the photos have been altered in any way.  Most of these photos were taken during the healing process at about at least 3 months after surgery.  This is the time when most patients have reached their finial size due to the majority of swelling being gone.  This is also the time when scars are usually at their thickest, reddest and most obvious point in the healing process.  They will continue to fade and improve usually over the following year or more.  During this time, swelling will continue to subside and implants will soften and settle.  In most cases you will not see the final result for at least 6 months to a year after surgery.  But don’t get discouraged.  You will see a dramatic improvement as soon as you wake up from surgery.  It will then just get better and better over the next several months.

Also, in regard to the Breast Augmentation photos, many women show me photos of the breast shape they would like to have.  What I explain to everyone is that although implants will alter your shape somewhat, your shape after getting implants is pretty much the same as your shape before you had implants, only bigger.  Your final shape will be your breast shape just filled out, making it larger.  Now, that is not to say that shape “problems” such as tuberous breasts, constricted breasts, or drooping breasts cannot be corrected, because they usually can, but sometimes this requires additional scars.
